FRIENDS OF EATON PARK
Annual General Meeting, 29 November 2007
Eaton Park Community Centre
Summary of notes
25 people attended. Cllr Judith Lubbock, reflecting on the past two years, said that a lot had been achieved from getting people involved, the walking group had started, there had been a survey on what people wanted from the group, and a £500 grant. Our photographer had made cards and bookmarks which had been sold with the benefits going to the Friends and there was now a website. FOEP was now a strong group and could go forward with new initiatives and developments.
The Acting Treasurer said there was now £685.99 in the bank, the result of sales of teas and cards, and two grants. The Constitution was adopted. A chairman, vice-chairman, treasurer, secretary and five committee members were elected.
The Friends then saw an interesting presentation by Bill Webster, Ambassador of Norwich in Bloom which had just won an award.
