Friends of Eaton Park Norwich
Getting there

Parking in and around Eaton Park is extremely limited, especially at weekends and during the holidays.

We recommend that if you can, you come on foot, by bike or by bus. The timetables for the 25/35 buses can be found here. The 25 runs frequently from the rail station via St Stephen's, Unthank Road and Colman Road. You can get out at the first or second stop by Pettus Road on South Park Avenue and this takes you into the Park by the boating pond. The 35 runs from the railway station via Earlham Road and Colman Road to The Avenues traffic lights. Get off at the George Borrow Road stop, go along to the De Hague Road/George Borrow Road crossroads, turn right and you'll see the Park ahead.

Hint: zoom in on the map version and the bus stops will appear!

The Anglian bus service 999 runs from the City centre past Eaton Park (timetable here). This bus does not run on Sundays.

By bicycle: there is a cycle path along Bluebell Road on the west side so if you come from Eaton or West Earlham then you can more or less keep off the road. If you are coming from the city you can go up Avenue Road/The Avenues, across at the traffic lights on Colman Road, second left into George Borrow Road and first right into de Hague Road. You'll see the Park entrance ahead. Or you can come up Unthank Road, turn right at the traffic lights onto Colman Road (taking care!) and then turn left by The Farmhouse pub at the next traffic lights. The entrance to the Park is on the right opposite the school.
